The Center maintains close relations with academic institutions abroad in order to foster scholarly and cultural exchanges for students and faculty. The Center also organizes special programs for international students at Wako. These include an international-student office staffed by full-time advisors who speak Chinese and English. The Center also offers Japanese-language instruction, a tutorial program, and intercultural events and outings.
